Press Release Body: Boston, March 3, 2008 - OnForce, the world's largest marketplace for IT service professionals, today announced the expansion of its executive team to support the company's rapid growth with the promotion of Matt Johnston to vice president of marketing, and the additions of Daniel Harte as vice president of sales, and Jeanette Tweed as vice president of finance and administration.
OnForce, which has more than 11,000 contract service professionals across the U.S. and Canada, has become the industry standard for VARs, solution providers and IT staffing firms to find skilled, off-payroll technicians. Since its inception, more than 500,000 work orders have been successfully completed through the OnForce marketplace. Previously the company's director of marketing, Johnston's promotion to vice president of marketing expands his responsibilities to include building awareness of the OnForce brand, driving customer acquisition efforts, and leading expansion and growth opportunities. Prior to OnForce, Johnston was the director of marketing at Mimeo Inc. and spent several years at Herman Miller Inc., focusing on the firm's e-commerce initiatives and online strategy.
Daniel Harte joins OnForce as vice president of sales, where he has helped to develop the company's inside sales organization as well as its strategic plans for growth and sales performance. Prior to joining OnForce, Harte was responsible for leading PC Connection Sales Inc., a subsidiary of PC Connection, Inc., which included two of the company's sales offices.
Jeanette Tweed brings more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in finance and accounting to her position as vice president of finance and administration. Tweed is responsible for building and scaling the company\'s finance and administration infrastructure. She has held executive financial positions at several technology-based companies, including CCBN, Inc. and Knowledge Impact. She was also an integral member of the finance team that executed a successful IPO of the Cambridge, Mass.-based technology services firm, i-Cube, Inc. (later merged with Razorfish).
